Congratulations to Tim Bray for winning the Knoxville Habitat ReStore Volunteer of the Year award at this year’s volunteer picnic!
Tim’s commitment to the Knoxville Habitat for Humanity ReStore is unparalleled. After volunteering at the Habitat ReStore in Colorado for over 13 years, Tim moved to Tennessee with his parents in the Spring of 2021. Before he moved, he called the Knoxville Habitat ReStore to inquire about volunteer opportunities and was quick to join our team once he settled into his new home.
Tim now works with our ReStore staff and volunteers faithfully FOUR days per week, and his consistency is second to none. He shows up to each shift with a smile on his face and his dill pickle flavored sunflower seeds and hummus in hand. He is always in a good mood and always friendly and willing to help with anything. We know we can count on Tim to show up and give us his time and talent to make a difference each week.
Tim takes pride in his role with the Knoxville Habitat ReStore. He serves as vendor liaison when our ReStore hosts guests at events, and he always arrives early to help set up and create a festive atmosphere for guests. He is the master of customer service, and he sincerely engages with guests as he answers questions, loads items, and shares about the mission of the Knoxville Habitat ReStore.
We are grateful for Tim, and for all our ReStore volunteers, who make our work at the ReStore possible.
