ReStore
The Knoxville Habitat for Humanity ReStore is open to the public and features new and gently used furniture, clothing, household items, building materials, cabinets, appliances and more at a fraction of the price. There are a variety of fun and productive ways to volunteer at the ReStore including cashier positions, administrative, sorting merchandise and displays. Opportunities are available for groups as well as individuals.
Several Knoxville Habitat special events take place throughout the year, such as a sporting clay tournament and boutique sale. Volunteers often play very important roles in ensuring these events are successful and run smoothly. Contact our volunteer coordinator for more information on upcoming events you can take part in.
About every other year, Knoxville Habitat and a group of volunteers plan a Global Village Trip to contribute to Habitat’s mission around the world. On these trips, the volunteers typically build in less developed countries where housing is a critical need.
Need community service hours?
Volunteers can use their experience with Knoxville Habitat to collect community service hours for high school, college and some court-ordered offenses. Contact our volunteer coordinator for more information.
