Mark your calendars! Our ReStore, located at 1511 Downtown West Blvd. is hosting a Community Shredding Event in conjunction with our Earth Day Celebration! On April 22, from 10 a.m. – noon, bring your documents to discard at the mobile shredding truck at the ReStore. Collect your personal papers and sensitive documents now in preparation for our event. Learn more about how ShredPro Secure positively impacts our environment.
How to Participate:
- Limit of 3 copy paper boxes (or equivalent amount) per car. (If someone has more, they can go back through the line. This prevents the line from being held up if someone comes through with several boxes – we have had people come through with a truckload of boxes!! Depending on how busy it is, this may not be much of an issue for the entire time.)
- Please stay in your vehicle – place your automobile in park and release the trunk or hatch. We will retrieve your material and give your boxes/containers back.
- Please bring only papers and documents for shredding – paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, and hanging files are all acceptable.
- Please look through your boxes before you come to make sure there are no 3-ring binders, plastic, or anything else that is not paper. (Many people are taking boxes out of storage and don’t bother to look through them. We have found toys, picture frames, batteries, etc. in boxes. They must be removed because these things will contaminate the paper which prevents recycling.
