How do I donate items to the Knoxville Habitat ReStore?

Donation items can be dropped off at the back door of the Knoxville Habitat ReStore. Located at 1511 Downtown W Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37919.

The Knoxville Habitat ReStore is also happy to schedule a pickup at your home or business (Knox County only) with the completion one of the donation forms below.

When can I donate items to the Knoxville Habitat ReStore?

We appreciate and accept your donations during normal business hours.

9am-5:30pm Tuesday-Friday

9am-3:30pm Saturday

What items can I donate?

In order to better serve our customers, we do have specific criteria for acceptable goods. All donations are tax-deductible. Please follow the guidelines below. The donation criteria are subject to change.  Some donations may be declined due to safety concerns or marketability. If you’re unsure if your donation meets the criteria, please call 865.690.4214.

*Please Note: Knoxville Habitat ReStore employees will have the final decision on items ability to be donated at time of donation.

Items we accept:

All items must be in good working condition, as we do not repair or restore items.

 

The following is a comprehensive list of items we do accept. 

  • Sets of cabinets
  • Furniture
  • Electric appliances (large and small)
  • Lawn equipment
  • Tools (power tools and hand tools)
  • Gently used clothing and accessories
  • Home décor
  • Collectibles
  • Household goods
  • Electronic equipment and televisions (less than 5 years old)
  • Window air conditioners
  • Kitchen and bathroom fixtures
  • Most doors and windows
  • Most light fixtures (no gold or brass)

Items that are not in sellable condition – this includes items that have rips, tears, stains, or odors.

Items that have real or potential safety hazards such as items that have recalls or any hazardous chemicals.
