Patty – Volunteer Spotlight!
Patty is considered by everyone to be a talented jack of all trades. Over the years, she has served as a construction volunteer, a special event volunteer, and last but not least, an administrative volunteer.
While Patty is happy to swing a hammer on the build site, she truly excels in her role as an office volunteer. She graciously manages any task asked of her in the Knoxville Habitat office. She has done everything from stuffing envelopes, filing papers, and spending hours at a time in front of a computer screen completing data entry.
She also routinely helps Knoxville Habitat with special events, including our annual Sporting Clays Tournament. She is not only a great storyteller and friend to the office staff, but she loves Habitat and is always willing to say yes to any task.
In 2018, Patty was awarded the Volunteer of the Year for exemplifying volunteerism and fulling the Knoxville Habitat for Humanity mission of building “homes, communities and hope.”
