Govani and Htoo
Govani Ko and Htoo Say Naw live with their son, Law Eah. Govani and Naw found out about Knoxville Habitat for Humanity through the Burmese Christian Church and Bridge Refugee Services.
Govani is employed with Goodwill Industries. Both Govani and his wife have been very active in the Habitat program as they worked to acquire their required 500 hours of sweat equity.
This family has many friends who have built in Silver Leaf, and they are excited to build in a neighborhood where they have the community and support of close friends. In fact, they are building right across the street from Govani’s close friend, Sa Lazaru. Govani and Htoo have helped on the builds for Sa and other families in Silver Leaf.
Govani and Htoo are excited to build their home in a place where their children can play outside and grow together.
